Bio for Will Pitts (Jefferson Cup)
Will Pitts Nominated by John Stevens
Will Pitts is the founding Chairman of the Republican Liberty Caucus of Northeast Florida and is now the current State Chairman of the Republican Liberty Caucus of Florida. He is the CEO of W.G. Pitts Construction, husband to Susan Pitts and father of four children.
Will’s work in this movement began in the summer of 2007 when he joined a small group of 20 to 25 people who, like him, felt compelled to do more than talk about the erosion of freedom and liberty that has been occurring in our country.   He has never let up since.
Over the past year Will has…
1.   Continued to open his personal business (during tough economic times) as a headquarters where activists continually meet & organize to further the cause of liberty.
2.   Traveled all over the state of Florida at his own expense to further the cause of liberty.
3.   Was elected State Chairman of the RLC of Florida in March
4.   Has written and delivered numerous informative and inspiring speeches on the subject of liberty.
5.   Endured unfair personal character assaults due to his unwavering commitment to further the cause of liberty – even when it requires going against popular opinion.
Will is a man of ideas and solutions who continually inspires those around him to fight for the cause of liberty.
Republican Liberty Caucus National Convention – 3/27/09
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
The Republican Liberty Caucus (RLC) is a nationwide grassroots organization committed to returning the Republican Party – and through it, the American people – to the principles of individual rights, limited government, and free enterprise. They don’t just talk about the issues. They act on them and encourage as many people as possible to take an active role in government on any level possible (because even the smallest act by an individual can have a far-reaching positive impact).
In just a few days, on March 27-29, 2008, the RLC is hosting a state and national convention in Jacksonville, FL. As part of the convention, the RLC will be hosting an open invitation banquet on Saturday, March 28, at 7:00pm.
You do not have to be a member of the RLC or any particular political party to attend the convention or banquet. Please visit www.rlcfl.org for additional details on the full convention.
At the banquet, Dr. Lawrence W. Reed, president of the Foundation for Economic Education. He will be giving a speech on “The Fed Great Myths of the Great Depression.”
National radio host Mike Church from Sirius Patriot 144 and XM American Right 166 will be addressing our attendees and emceeing the event. He will have a special message for the banquet attendees, followed by a video montage, and finally Dr. Reed’s speech.
There will also be panels speaking throughout the convention on grassroots level organizations and actions, how various organizations might help each other, and even campaigning for office.
Considering the current economic and constitutional crisis this is a “must attend” event for all liberty-minded individuals. Join us as we come together to restore individual liberty, limited constitutional government and free-markets.
